One of our favorite RV stops is the Texas Hill Country on the Frio River. In case you are not familiar with this area it is where the rivers are spring fed and crystal clear with rock bottoms. The river cuts through the hills which formed high bluffs a million plus years ago. It is very rustic country but it also is beautiful country. We always stay at Neals Lodges which is mostly cabin rentals but they also have 10 RV sites. Garner State Park is 7 miles down the road and has a lot of activities and also a dance every night during summer months on the Pavillion.
